Currently Dr. Clingan is the Department Chair of Criminal Justice and teaches Psychology for Pierce College, Washington State, and is a Content Expert for the Grand Canyon University Doctoral Studies Programs. He undertook his Psy.D in the Department of Psychology in the School of Organizational Leadership at the University of Arizona, Global Campus, United States. Dr. Clingan specializes in preeminent psychology/cognitive behaviors within the field of criminology. He lectures in the field of psychology and criminology. Publishes articles both in the fields of criminology and psychology. His psychology work is influenced based on the theoretical frameworks of Dr. Paul Ekman and measuring nonverbal communication and cognitive behaviors of criminal offenders.
Careers include serving 21 years in the Army which he served in 26 countries, and 11 deployments. Some countries include Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bosnia, Germany, Czechoslovakia, South Korea, Albania, Macedonia, Hungry, and Croatia.
Today, he lives in South Texas with his wife and dog Twitchy, a cute Shiba-Inu. They enjoy Mexican cuisine, riding CVO Road Glide and enjoying the sunny weather, swimming, and enjoying life to the fullest.
